A resource download after a new Free Fire update can be different from the same pack downloading every time you reopen the game. Record the resource name, displayed size and when it reappears. Without that distinction, it is easy to keep deleting and downloading files that were never the underlying problem.
Garena's expansion-pack support article links repeated downloads with resources not being retained and some device cleanup settings. Its menu examples are from an older Android interface. Use them as a clue to investigate your own device, not as a reason to grant every permission or follow a menu that is absent.
Establish whether the download really repeats
Let one resource finish on a connection you intend to use for the download. Note the game's completion state, close it normally, then reopen. Compare the resource label rather than relying only on the total amount of data used.
If the app itself updated between attempts, the next download may contain different files. Keep the app version in your note. If the same named pack returns without an update, that is the repeatable case to investigate.
Review available storage
Open the device's storage overview and check whether there is space for the installed game, downloaded resources and installation work. Do not assume the store's initial download size equals the complete space needed for your chosen content.
Remove only material you recognize and choose to remove. Keep personal files backed up as appropriate. Deleting arbitrary folders inside the game installation can create another incomplete-resource cycle.
Check automatic cleanup behavior
Look for device features or apps that remove unused app data or downloaded files automatically. If one explicitly lists Free Fire resources, review its settings and the phone manufacturer's explanation. You do not need to disable unrelated security protections.
After a relevant setting change, perform the same complete-download and reopen test once. Write whether the resource remained available. If nothing changed, restore unnecessary adjustments instead of accumulating an undocumented set of device changes.
Keep data use under control
Use a connection whose download allowance you understand. Avoid repeated large retries over a limited mobile plan. If the download stops at a particular percentage, record that point and any error message, then compare another connection when available.
The network checklist helps with intermittent connectivity, while the crash sequence applies if the app closes during the download. Those are different observations from a completed pack disappearing later.
Protect access before a reinstall
Do not clear all app data or uninstall until you know how to regain the intended profile. Keep your login method and account reference straight; the UID guide explains what the player ID identifies and what it cannot do.
For official support, provide the game version, device, resource name, available storage and exact reopen sequence. That report is more useful than saying the game uses too much internet without describing when the download repeats.
